06 Avensis clutch cable.

    Leaving the child to school today, the clutch pedal went to the floor.
    Managed to make it home again, and rang local garage.
    He was sure the clutches hydraulic on those while I was sure it was a cable. Edit: He was right, there is a tiny cylinder!
    A bit of gymnastics later revealed this shock absorbing fitting which the cable screws into, and in turn is connected to the pedal with a pin.
    It's obviously failed before and been welded, but how it managed to unthread today is a mystery. There is a locknut on the cable end.

    Cheaper fix than I was imaginaning!
