    Hi
    Have a roofed porch 2m x 2.4m x 2.2m (L x W x H) that I want to build into house ( add new front door/ side wall)

90% of houses in our row have this already either as part of original build or a later alteration.
Will I have to apply for PP here?
    Thx!

Porch can be exempt up to 2 Sq. M.
Your dimension of 2x2.4 would appear to make it require planning but you need to clarify the internal floor area as that is what you go against for the exemption limits.

Yes, it's going to be 4.8 so not within that exemption limit. Wondering if the fact that others had done similar might give some other exemption based on alterations are in keeping with neighbourhood

    Nope. Planning required.
