ABS light.

I had an ABS yellow light come up on my Doblo.

So on inspection the back of both discs were rusted at the
    ABS sensor.

I replaced both discs and ABS sensors and leads. I just need to get the fault/light reset before the NCT

Problem is I may not get it reset prior to the test date.

    Question,

Will a yellow ABS light give me a fail, and if it does, is it a visual retest on the ABS light.

    Thanks
    kadman.

Did you have any codes read to confirm the fault before replacing the discs etc?

Not to hand, but the right hand ABS lead was damaged, and the discs sensor ring was rusted
almost beyond recognition. And the light was activated by moving the original poor lead
    to and fro.

So new discs were replaced due to the rust and wear minimum on the old ones.
And sensors , leads and brake pads as a matter of course. And system was bled
and new fluid for complete change, and ABS pump laptop bled.

I was to bring the car back for the fault/light reset, but it may not happen
prior to the test date. Codes read are not accesible to me at the present.

Disconnect the battery overnight might reset the light .

Light will give you a fail but it is a visual retest anyway so not too bad that way. Happened to me a few weeks back.

Have you an OBD lead??... you can download multiecuscan free to read the codes... I’ve had 2 fiats and both would clear the light once the problem was fixed.
