Nissan NV200

Are there any Nissan NV200 owners posting here?

I have been asked to get some info if I can about its capabilities and value etc.

It would be for a couple, one of whom is a wheelchair user, so a flat bed rear is a must for stowing the chair.
This looks like it would suit ..... but it seems costly to me for a 2 year old vehicle with a small battery.

Any opinions from owners of these?

    Thanks.

(I hope I am not breaking a rule by posting this link)

It's not really costly considering the car has dropped around 10k off its new price.

The NV200 is basically a bigger Leaf, so the same rules more, or less apply. The desired one is the Tekna (SVE) especially for a wheelchair user, because it has the all round reverse cameras, but the Acenta (SV) is plenty good enough.

The 6.6 OBC is what you want. The one you linked is only a 3.3 OBC so would take twice as long to charge from home, or at public slow chargers.

There are much less of them for sale, but you should find one in the UK.

This guy on youtube has a few videos you might want to watch.

I showed them a few videos from links on this site and whatever I could find, so they had a better appreciation of the vehicle.

The response was not positive. :(
They considered it just too big for their needs, and a bit high in the seating for entry and exit.

It seems that something more the size of a Berlingo or equivalent would suit better.

@goz83 thanks for the post and link.
That video was one I showed them, but I think it was the one previous to that which showed the kids inside etc that decided them.

IMO it is a hugely spacious vehicle and I would love to have one for a week or so to try it. :)

Thanks to everyone who post useful links in this forum.
They have been very helpful in addition to the information and comments posted.

Maybe there will be a smaller version in the future which would suit them when next they are changing their vehicle.

    Thanks :D

If it is a berlingo they want, they might want to check the dimensions.

A test drive might be a good idea.

ENV200 is actually more than 10 cm a bit shorter than a LEAF which is surprising. The wheelbase is tiny bit longer 2725 vs 2700 and of course it much taller, just over 1.8 meters which may cause issues with some barriers, but apart from that you can park it anywhere where you can park a LEAF.

It seems the overall size of the e-NV200 is what put them off most.
They will need to get out to view some smaller vehicles with a flat rear bed, and I suspect, as compact as possible.
Not an easy task it seems.
All small to medium 'estate/combi' bodies I have seen don't seem to have that flat entry. Most of course are not available in BEV either.

From what little research I have done it appears they will not be able to go electric at this time.

The e-NV200 is longer than the NV200 and Leaf, seems some confusion between the 2.
    Length
    e-NV200 4560
    NV200 4400
    Leaf 4445
    new leaf 4490
