Hi how best can I ensure I have an Internet Connection when travelling on Irish Rail, Irish Ferries, UK Rail and in the UK ?. It never really functions on Irish Trains. In Britain one normally has to 'pay' and even when I do pay, it still doesn't work. I'm thinking primarily of Laptop Internet, less so phone. What's the best way to manage this ?.
    Thanks
    S :)

Never had an issue with any of them to be honest normally just make sure wifi is tjrned on on laptop and it connects.
Irish ferries have a free one as do irish rail its normally a case of connecting to google and their homepage comes up you tick the box that says you agree to their terms and conditions and away you go, at least it has been for me anyway

Vodafone mifi device is probably your best option.
