04 Yaris clutch/transmission/battery issues

So I was driving the gf's yaris yesterday and noticed a burning rubber/sulphury smell as i was turning into a car park. When we came back the car seemed fine and drove home (10kms). Just as we were pulling into the drive the car went flat. After letting it a few minutes, I got it started again but the power steering had stopped working. As I got it moving a bit more the power steering came back to some degree.

Does anyone have any ideas what this is?
Is it clutch (burning smell and issues with gears in the past), the battery (sulphur smell of battery, car going flat) or something bigger (power steering failing)?
    Thanks!

check the belts - would effect both steering and charging and give smell is slipping.

Alternator belt or the alternator itself most likely.

Can't remember 100%, but wouldn't an 04 Yaris have electric power steering? I'd say alternator belt to start with.
