We’re looking to get a kitten (if anyone remembers my previous post we abandoned the idea of a dog!) and I’ve been looking at this clinic to get checkups/vaccinations/neutering/etc. I’ve read some reviews on Facebook that haven’t instilled me with comfort. Has anyone on here got any experience with them? Or who would you recommend within short driving distance of Carrick on Shannon?

Haven't used Crowes so don't know much about them I'm afraid. However I do use Quinns (Ashwood veterinary clinic) in mohill which is only 15-20mins from Carrick. Find them absolutely superb and have been using them all my life. Joe in particular is very good at the small animals as he really seems to care about each case.
They also won the Vet Practice of the Year > 10 people employed earlier this year so it's not just me praising them :)

I second lady haywire with the recommendation for Quinn's in Mohill, they are v trustworthy, really super to deal with, over the years they've taken care of many things such as our second dog's spaying, an emergency closure of a 3 inch wound under anaesthetic, recommeded a great surgeon for a cruciate repair and a great physiotherapist for afterwards, dealt with lots of skin allergies etc. Never had an issue with them.

Thank you! I might just use Mohill first while I wait on any responses about Crowes. (Note I’ve been meaning to correct the title spelling but can’t figure out how to do it from mobile!)

Here’s a pic of the new cat whom we called Jess (son is mad about postman pat)
