energy use to bring steam from 11bar to 18 bar

    looking for some help on calculating the energy needed to bring steam at 11bar to steam at 18.

    What are you starting with? You need to describe this problem in more detail, what is the context? is it entirely hypothetical or is this an engineering problem? Do you have a starting temperature for the steam? or a target temperature?

    Also, what have your efforts to figure out the answer looked at?

    It is an engineering problem.a boiler problem.calculating the energy it takes to bring the boiler up to pressure after it trips out.
    Have looked at using the hg of steam (2797) and hf of water 11bar (2781).then the difference of theses and divided by 3600 to get it into kwhr/tonne.
