    Hi there,

    Am looking to upgrade my old DVD player+surround sound system.

    I am looking at:-
    * Denon AVRX2400 http://www.richersounds.ie/p-13044-avrx2400.aspx
    * Sony UBP-X800 http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202586-ubpx800.aspx

    I'm happy with my existing speakers, so no need for new. Wondering if you would have any feedback or alternative suggestions? I'd like to stay under EUR 1000, delivered to Dublin.

    My requirements are basically 4K, at least 4 HDMI inputs, Netflix, capability to play audio/video stored on LAN, etc

    My setup is a TV + projector (Optoma UHD60 from yourselves :) ) -- only watching one at once, but the dual output of the 2400 might be better than the cheap HDMI splitter I'm currently using.

    Thanks
    dologhli

    Hey Dologhli.

    The AVRX2400 is a great choice. 5 star reviewed in What HiFi.
    Currently priced at £399.00

    The X800 is also very good. Its going to one of my own next purchases.
    It is currently going for £269.00

    I could do a bundle deal at £640 for both units.
    Delivery would be just £6.99
