kitchen press hinge

    Hi,

I've a broken hinge in a kitchen cabinet press, the normal type. Unfortunately the old screw snapped and is buried deep so I can't just repair the existing setup as I don't think I can remove the broken screw that's lodged.

So I'm thinking of just adding a new hinge above or below where the old one is. Any handy tricks or easy to fix new type hinges on the market or do I just head to Woodies and ask for a regular hinge and few screws
    Cheers! (useless at DIY obviously!!!)

Try getting an identical hinge and drilling a hole in it to take the second screw.

You generally need a special holesaw to put regular hinges on the door.

Can you post a picture of what you have?
