    Hi,

We just got married last week and need to send the very important signed marriage registration document back to the HSE.

Do we post this? Or must it be dropped in by both or one of us?

I have a feeling posting it is a bad idea?

You can post it- I would register it though. You need to pay 20 for your cert so may be easier going In with it and getting your cert too

You can post it. You can send it by registered post. One of both of you can drop it in. You can get a friend or relative to drop it in.

The HSE don't care, as long as it gets back to them somehow.

You don't want it to go astray, though, so ordinary post might be a bit risky and, if you get a friend to drop it in, make sure he or she is dependable.
