The slim was discontinued in ~ 2012/13.

If you mean the super slim then I believe that was discontinued this year or maybe 2016. I doubt you will find a new one in a bricks & mortar shop... unless maybe you find some back alley shop in the middle of nowhere with low turnover.

Anyone who has new ones online seems to have jacked up their prices.
