2012 Passat automatic vs manual

    Hi,
    A friend of mine is looking for a 2012 Passat but is confused as to manual cars are more expensive than automatic. I couldn't see why. Anyone here willing to suggest a reason?

    That's strange.
    Do you have links to the cars your friend is looking at? There could be other differences that will explain the price diff.

    OK, answer found. The more expensive manual is an Audi A6....
