Disclosure of Details by a Revenue Officer

    Hi,
I've been the subject of an unauthorized disclosure of my personal details by a Revenue officer. I've read the the section Tax act as amended in detail in relation to disclosures of personal details and I'm 100% sure my rights were violated.
The act has provision for penalty of EUR3,000 - EUR10,000 against an officer who commits such an unauthorized disclosure. However the act does not say how a private citizen such as myself initiates the proceedings that would result in a prosecution of the officer for such a disclosure.
Does anybody have any advice as to what my next steps are to making a formal complaint against this individual that would ultimately end up in his being prosecuted.
