Croatia With 16-20 Month Old Child

    Hi.
I'm trying to start planning a holiday for summer 2018 and Croatia is one place that is in my thoughts (the alternatives being Mallorca and either South Of France or Annecy in the Alps).
We would plan to go in May, June or September 2018 depending on price, availability, work etc.
Minimum 10 nights - possibly stretching out to 13 depending on how much it would cost us etc.
It would be myself, my wife and our now 11 month old daughter travelling.
The only worry I have is travelling with a child that age may be more hassle than it's worth. We brought her to France this year at 8 months which was fine but she wasn't too "busy" at that stage yet.

Some questions for anyone who may have done something similar...
    1. Travelling with a child that age in Croatia - any thoughts?
    2. Any areas in particular that people would recommend?
I had thought in the past that I would like to stay in Hvar Town and Cavtat with a night or 2 in Trogir thrown in as well.
But I have heard that Rovinj in Istria is really nice also so that would also be an option possibly in conjunction with a few nights in Ljubljana in Slovenia.
    Anyone got any particular recommendations?
    3. In any of the places mentioned above - would anybody recommend any accommodation that would be good with a child in tow?
We found a gorgeous lodge/apartment on ile de Re for our holiday this year and it really made the holiday as it was ideal for our daughter.

Thanks very much for any recommendations. Much appreciated.
