transporting a mobility scooter

    Hi
    I was looking at a 2nd hand large mobility scooter (royale 4)
    How are they generally transported
    Can they be disassembled easy to fit in a big hatchback?
    I dont have a tow bar for a trailer.
    I would hope it could be moved for holiday trips etc as well. So its an important consideration

    I use a large mobility scooter (a Pride).

    Most if not all of them are easily carried in the boot of a car. The tiller (steering column) folds back, the seat slides forward and also folds. So if you are physically able its no problem to fold it and put it in the boot or slide it in front of the back seat.

    I had a Shoprider and I have a Pride and that's how they both fold. The Pride is a big one, with two 50amp batteries for distance.
