Blustery day along the Atlantic Seaboard. Could be some big squally showers packing a punch tomorrow.

The AROME run showing wind bursts across the country indicative of squalls I reckon.

Very windy out there this evening and going to remain so for a good many hours to come. Must be incredibly rough well out to sea going by the winds and wave heights detected.

What I think is a short wave depression on the ECM ( NW of Ireland )is showing up as producing potentially a very windy spell tomorrow evening ( and probably very wet for a time too ). This might be one to keep a close eye on.

Very windy driving home from Castlebar, seen some lightning out over Newport Bay too. Battery symbol is showing on my weather station but conditions are to bad to get up on the roof, it can wait until next year.

Was dead calm for quite a while and now all of a sudden really strong gusts causing the house to creak and can hear it bashing off the wall. Crazy how fast it can change!
