    I use the catch up facility to listen to a lot of BBC Radio programmes and podcasts from BBC 2,3,4 & 4Xtra after they've been broadcast but it's quite hit and miss if I can get them or not. I don't have fixed-line internet so I'm using a Moto G5 Plus with Tesco mobile for the purpose and use it in Dublin 8. It's set to 3G as per Tesco instruction as they don't have 4G.

    I know Tesco have some problems sometimes re coverage but the issue is that I can usually get the stations on TuneIn Pro or Radio FM for live transmissions at exactly the same time as the catch up facility not working on the iPlayer. The phone is also set to receive and download on mobile so that can't be the issue. Maybe it's the APN settings though I reset them this week again per Tesco's helpline. Not bothered re moving from Tesco if they're the problem as I'm not on a contract but don't want to bother moving if they're not the cause.
