Requesting copy of Self Assessment Chapter 4

    Hi All,

I need to get a copy of my self assessment chapter 4 as due to circumstances slightly outside of my control I don't have the copy the revenue sent out. How do I request another copy? The only kind of way I could see to do it is raise an inquiry via ROS, but I have yet to receive a response on that...

If you're interested in the long version... I wasn't registered on ROS when I submitted my self assessment, so they would have posted it as opposed to sent it to my ROS inbox (I have searched ROS now and it's not there). Next issue, unfortunately, I have moved out of the house they posted it to and the new tenants are (for lack of a better term) a shower of arseholes! Even after requesting them to forward post on while I sort out address changes they have instead destroyed every letter addressed to me to date.

Anyway, that aside! Does anyone know how I get a new copy sent to my ROS? Or even posted, I don't really mind.

    Thanks in advance!

Ring revenue and ask for it. Simple as that

I didn't want to say at the time, but I wasn't optimistic about it being as simple as "ring the revnue and ask for it". Which I guess is the reason I posted on here, I know from dealing with them things aren't straight forward with the Revenue and I thought someone could direct me straight to a method / phone number / something.

Anyway, I rang the local revenue office, which directed me at a load of 1890 numbers, or the website. I went to the website and to be honest it's not very clear what number you should ring for self assessment. I tried what looked like the income tax number, and got through to business tax services or something. So, slightly puzzled, I hung up on that number as it didn't sound like what I needed. I found some tax office number which wasn't an expensive 1890 number... a lady directed me to ring the PAYE services... another 1890 number. Spent about 5 minutes waiting on hold, got through to another nice lady who told me to ring the Business Services number I had previously been puzzled by, but to wait on it, don't talk or tell them your PPS number until EVENTUALLY you get a load of options, one of them being income tax. Then you get to talk to someone who can help.

Holy moly revenue, you don't half make things difficult at times.

Anyway, for anyone stumbling across this:
    • Ring 1890 216 216. It's the Income Tax and Business Taxes number.
    • Ignore the fact it sounds like a business tax only number from the welcome message.
    • Wait... and wait... until it asks for your PPS number
    • Stay silent
    • A slightly different confused voice will tell you it didn't understand and ask you for the PPS number again
    • Stay silent
    • Eventually you will hear more options, the first one being Income Tax
    • When it's your turn to speak say "Income Tax" and you'll get to talk to someone

    Simple as that!
