Hi Folks boiler issues

    I have two issues hoping u might be able to help, all my raduiators are old some dont even have the dials

    One of my radiators in bedroom is hot on the bottom cold on top have bled but still no difference ? would it be sludge ?

    Also the back Copper boiler in the hot press is freezing cold on the bottom but roasring hot at top is this normal

    Did water come out when you bled it ? If not, you do not have enough water in the system. It could be the same problem with the hot water cylinder. Maybe it's not heating at all from the boiler, and you are heating the cylinder with the electric immersion.

    yes some water came out

    i dont have an electric immersion

    It depends where the boiler is, but it sounds like little or no circulation. If there is water in the rad, the heat should rise to the top, but maybe bad circulation here as well with almost no heat reaching the rad.
