Anyone here ever use precast wall panels rather than shuttering and pouring? Extending calf shed and wouldn't mind speeding up the process a bit!

Used them on a shed here a few years ago. Great job. No mess, fast and can be removed again at a later date. Think at the time they worked out no dearer than shuttering.

Cheers for that. Won't really be able to remove mine I'd say as they will be slotting down into web of RSJ before trusses go on. Guaranteed a nice finish though which is not always the case when using shutters. Only problem now is I've been told a 5 week wait on them!

Ducon concrete in Kanturk have hollow core floor slabs, seconds, with very slight defects, that they would cut to size for you....would work out really cheap....

Would you consider 6x3 treated timber? One (full not half) bale would do 8x16 ft bays 4ft high.

I like that one, lift in yourself and easily moved, lasting might be the issue if like me you like something you can use to edge the loader into.

With it being the lie back area in a calf house I would prefer a smooth finish concrete for power washing, less chance of harbouring bugs.
