In the west they usually get snow. But I just out out the green bin. Says it is -4 and the grass/ground is rock solid. How is it not snowing!? :D

Probably too cold to snow, bloody cold though, some layer of frost outside.

For the same reason that it's often raining in the west while not raining in Dublin. Snow is just another form of precipitation.

Dublin is too busy paying for the rest of the country, no time for snow.

No we don't count them obviously. Wicklow can have the Dublin mountains.

It is NEVER too cold to snow unless it is Absolute Zero ( -273 C)

So it's -4 in Dublin yet it's -40 in Siberia and snowing away.

The Dublin mountains is only a colloquial name for the parts of the Wicklow Mountains that are actually in Dublin.

So they are in Dublin then, as on an OS map.

It’s the Dublin part of the Wicklow mountains. The name of the range is formally the Wicklow mountains though.

Dublin gets the football all irelands, the rest of the country gets the snow. It's a fair trade.

Too cold to snow ? Bit of a myth, how do you think countries in eastern europe and canada are covered in snow and they're way colder than this
