    Initially thought that. But I don't think it would lead to this. She is imagining situations that have never happened and things that have happened and we tell her they happened a certain way, she will outright insist they didn't happen that way and will remember just about anything a different way.

    Nobody here can give medical advice as to what might be wrong.

    If you could speak to her GP or convince her to go to her GP. Unless she is a threat to herself or others then there is not a lot you can do without her permission.

    Difficult one op, is there anyone she currently listens to?. And as mentioned above we can't tell what's wrong.
    I'll leave this thread open a while in case someone has something useful (and non medical) to add.
