    Hi Folks,

We have a fridge freezer in the shed, only use it at Xmas to store the extra food.

Plugged it in last week and the freezer worked perfect but the fridge didn't seem to be cooling. Now the freezer has defrosted overnight, would the cold weather have anything to do with it or is it goosed?
    Thanks.

if the temperature of the shed is around +2 degrees or lower the fridge will cut out because the fridge section is at operating temp, if you want it to cut in again place a bowl of hot water inside the cabinet. if it has been running but only cooling the freezer compartment it would suggest a partial refrigerant leak.

Bowl of hot water?...I'd never have thought of doing that, thanks. Freezer seems to be working again, there's a doubt creeping into herself mind that the door might have been left open. Thanks for replying, putting kettle on now for hot water.
