Light wide toe box casual men's footwear

I've been wearing converse on a daily basis but I'm getting sore feet, and a bad ache in the smaller toes. I think they don't fit the shape of my feet too well so I need to swap for something else. I've a fairly wide toe box, and my toes are reasonably square. My heels are normal or narrowish. So big triangular feet basically. I've often had trouble finding comfortable shoes as a result.

I like the lightness and flatness of converse, so those are characteristics I'd be looking for.

From googling, Keen looks like the best bet for fitting my feet. I haven't had an opportunity to try any on yet, so I don't know if they offer light flat shoes though.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

I don't think it's just the shape of your feet. I know of quite a few people (including myself) whose feet hurt after wearing converse for longer periods. I prefer Superga to Converse but you might need to find something with better support. The flatness of the sole could be actually the reason for sore feet.

The general stiffness might be from that but the aching toes are from them being squished.

I got a pair of keen which are very comfortable. Not that light and not flat but fit my foot shape very well.

The campers seemed worth a look, but they dont seem to be stocked anywhere in Limerick.

    Thanks again
