Yep, it's that time of year again!

    Panelists this year are:

No real suprises there bar one. And the only exposure I've had to Big Narstie is on SU2C GoggleBox with Ed Sheeran and Example, and didn't think much of him then.

Not aware of a transmission date, but can't be far off.

How long will it take before Katherine Ryan shoehorns her Cheryl Versini routine into the procedings?

Surprised that Jonathan Ross didn't slot himself in as usual.

    Big Narstie

God why do they always have to have someone who shouldn't be there on it? Previous years have had the likes of Gabby Logan, Mel B, Jamie Oliver and Carol Vorderman.

Just have all proper comedians on it. There's no shortage of them from all the panel shows.

This has lost it's charm for me in the last few years for me.

This has lost it's charm for me in the last few years for me.

I used to much prefer when they did questions and rounds based on the months of the year (eg. Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr) and then smaller rounds on TV or music. Now all the rounds seem to be specifically themed.

Either way, the quiz very much depends on who is on and how they're playing. Some people can get away with constant joke answers, but some try it and fail miserably and just end up being a waste of time.

Still though, apart from Big Narstie it's a pretty solid lineup.

    Noel & Richard.

    that's enough.

I can now appreciate some of the above posters' skepticism as regards Big Narstie.

I always wonder where Noel buys his clothes

Big Narstie is the Mel B of 2017.

Jimmys laugh was just too much, I gave it to the first add break.

Shockingly poor tonight. David Mitchell is the only funny one

First time watching and I'm pretty disappointed

They kept it competitive, I will give them that.

As in competitive at not being funny?

The heartiest laugh I had was of your description of the lad looking like a "yardie version of Johnny Vega".

it ain't what it used to be. The best ones were when Russell Brand and Noel Fielding were together.

They also really need to stop making Jon Snow dance at the end of his bit. Jesus... It's just embarrassing... Not even funny embarrassing, just embarrassing...

FYI - another Big Fat Quiz of Everything on Friday night with the following panelists: Nish Kumar, Jonathan Ross, Miranda Hart, Claudia Winkleman, Vic Reeves, and Bob Mortimer.

Miranda Hart. What even is she? How does she keep getting work? Is she a professional box ticker?

Winkleman does my nut in, she tries too hard to be funny

I kinda agree, but at the same time, at least she is funny sometimes or sets up slagging by the others at her expense. Miranda Hart is just isn't funny at all.
