I'm not sure about this brand, the Amazon reviews suggest that there's a reasonable chance of failure. Lots of 1 star reviews:

It's also worth noting that the one linked to in the OP is USB2.0 with an old school mini USB. These drives won't be the fastest anyway, so it may not make much difference.

"recertified" though, not new. Have two of these myself - one failed after 3-4 months (just after the 3 month warranty expired). I notice the warranty is now 6 months though but that's too late for me.
