    I am seeking a protection order against my former partner. Will my he be required to go to court as I am nervous about what will happen if I proceed with it.

    Legal advice isn’t permitted on boards, you are best to contact a solicitor or attend the family law court who will advise accordingly.

    Speak to woman's advice or a solicitor for legal advice regarding your situtation

    However as is known protection orders are done ex party, meaning it's just you and the judge+court clerk
