    Hi Guys
just hoping some of ye wise men can help me.
I recently bought a house in Roscommon and just passed the test. things didn't plan out as planned but the house came before the car so I have to deal with it.
I need a car to hit the motorway possibly there could be a commute 5 days a week were looking in say 8 months or so.
but in the mean time I need something to get me there at the weekends.

I'm 36 with no no claims I'm a first time driver with 1 year named I got a quote for 1600 for a 06 Vectra 1.9 which believe it or not I was quite happy with.
but the Vectra wont do I need something with either space or some pulling power
    pref space like an estate.

Anyone shed some light as to what I should be looking at?
Octavia estate I seen a lovely Megane estate for buttons a few weeks ago but wasn't in the spot to buy.

    Help please
    Yours
    Dub to the country!

    Budget?

Ideally you need something well up in the years, reliable, insurable and with reasonable comfort/power.

I'd be thinking it'd be near impossible fulfil all that criteria but you never know it might be do-able.

€1600 was a decent quote on the vectra was it 120bhp or 150bhp?

Also you mention pulling power are you going hauling a 12x6 ifor Williams cattle trailer with regularity now that you've become de-urbanised? :P

A Citroen C5 estate is a fine car or a Ford Mondeo estate is another fine car.

Kia ceed and Hyundai 130 estates are two more you could look at.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.
