    Hi

    After many hours of research I'm nowhere.
    Need a new TV. Kids looking for a large one, 55'. I'd like quality picture that upscales SD well and HD will look great. Used for Sky/Netflix and occasionally Xbox games.
    These I fancied so would appreciate advise and any deals you might have;
    Panasonic TX50EX700B
    LG 49SJ800V, is the picture much better than the 700b?

    If 55' then
    KD55XE7073, am I getting a poorer pic quality by moving up in size.

    Any other recommendations greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi Too_Sleepy.

    You would be happy with any of the mentioned TV's.

    For me the LG would just pip it on picture quality and they have just arrived back into stock. Priced at £649.00

    There is also the Sony 49XE8004 priced at also at £649.00 which has an Android operating system for its smart features and also produces a great picture.

    The 55" Sony is also a cracking TV but as you say the larger the screen the more imperfections you will see as the image stretches.
    The Sony is currently an in store only collection and can not be shipped.

    Let me know what you think.
