Ventilation

We are thinking of getting a 5kw non boiler stove fitted in the living room.

The room does not have a wall vent which I think will be required for a stove. There is 3 external walls so as well as an open fire the room can be cold.

Does it make much difference where we position the wall vent? The fireplace is on the external wall on the side of the house.

Any tips on this would be really appreciated.

    Thanks
