    Hi Folks,

My mother (aged mid 60's) is currently driving a 2006 VW Polo. She wants to get a new car in 2018.

Have you any advice on what she should look at, what are the best deals out there at the moment for 2018?

    All the best,

    hbab2009.

It really depends what she wants and how much she plans to spend. The new VW Polo is out soon and comes with a lot of clever kit so that is worth looking at.
She could go get something a little higher like a Renault Captur or a Seat Arona.

There is loads of choice out there put no point in mentioning a whole lot of cars until she knows what type she wants.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Automatic standard on them, it's extra on the likes of a Polo.

They can park themselves via touchscreen, what's not to like :D. I was going on budget specified by OP ;)

As we get on in age, the higher position cars (Juke, Captur etc.) are easier to get
    in and out of.

A manual gearbox will be the standard box a few months after launch though :pac:.

OP, if your Mum likes the Polo, why not get another one, or else one of its siblings (Seat Ibiza or Skoda Fabia)?

The new SEAT Arona looks pretty decent. Ibiza size but higher up and considerably cheaper than the VW T-Roc it shares its underpinnings with.
