Refund Cheque made out to two names

    I received my refund check, however it is made out to myself and my exwife, so my first name, her first name and my surname.

    We are now separated so she no longer has the same surname (she has changed it back to her maiden name), secondly we never had a joint bank account that would allow a joint check (marked account payee only) to be lodged.

    Can the check be reissued to a sole name.
