Anyone ever used a Fast Charging Adapter to charge their phones from a pc/laptop?

In a new job which has no spare sockets to plug in my mains fast charger, need an alternative.

A PC or laptop just wouldn't have enough power output for a quick charge. Buy a double adaptor for one of the plug sockets, or use a quick charge power bank?

I'll just stick to using a normal usb. Wouldn't want to but in a double adapter tbh already extension leads being used.

A USB port is 5V DC, all you can do is connect it to the phone using a regular cable. Avoid a USB port that's part of a side by side pair, they typically can't deliver much juice.

But if your laptop power socket is USB-C, consider buying an adapter like this fellow, pass the power through it and you'll have some USB ports which will deliver a decent charge....
