Lease of easements

    Hi.

    I am having a huge problem selling my house as the potential purchaser's solicitor is insisting on a lease of easements document.

    Apparently it is referred to in the deeds folio.

    However it is not with the deeds. My bank hadn't even heard of this document.

    Would anyone know where or who I should go to to find this document?

    If the Lease of Easements is referred to on the folio, it would have been lodged with the original dealing in the Land Registry and a copy of that dealing can be requested from the Land Registry by your solicitor. It is referred to as an "Instrument" in the Land Registry and there is a charge of €40 to obtain a copy.

    I'll say it to him but as far as I recall he got the folio and the document is not there.
