General Recruitment 2 1/2 year long wait

    I applied for general recruitment in 2015 , passed all preliminary exams and was told all last year that I "was on a panel for upcoming inductions" only to receive this saucy email yesterday...

    "I wish to thank you for your application for 2015 General Service Army Dublin Interview Centre (Permanent Defence Force). I would like to express my regret that your application was not successful as you do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria for this competition."

    That was a long 2 1/2 long year wait for the worst breakup message I'v ever received. Anyone experience something similar?
