Cannot be beat Angus Cattle--purebreds anyway.. 3rd calfer due yesterday when got home from work yesterday evening-just after 6-she was out in field, with water bag out-I went into house for a cuppa, back out at 6:30.. nice heifer calf(35+ish kg) a sucking her! went out later-calf racing around the field, cow sprinting after her :-) the joys of a good calving cow

Anyone know how the sale in Carrick went, they often seem to be very unlucky with the weather when its on.

Great trade over 70% of all cattle sold and this was largest entry ever. Weather had little if any impact as even 10 bulls went up north which were worst hit with weather. We drove up sat morning and nothing until around roscommon and that wasn't bad
Angus have been lucky with westher over the years you might be thinking of Christmas cracker as that was impacted a few times with weather

In fairness it's the only sale with quality end to end. Lots of bulls for pedigree and suckler ..not as good for dairy man
