Loss of sound on HD

    Hi all,

    I have a SKY HD subscription and recently we have lost the sound on the HD channels. It's only the HD channels...
    I've restarted and reset the SKY box, changed the HDMI lead. I spoke to SKY and they say they will need to sent an engineer....

    Before I have to fork out, I was wondering if anyone here had such an issue??

    if you go into the audio settings option on the sky hd box if is possible to change the audio output settings the are carried on the hdmi cable
    this will restore the sound on the hd channels.

    You were correct. For some reason the Dolby D would not work but the normal setting did. You saved me a few €€€ there, so again many thanks.
