Hello - I have a bad feeling that Im after getting Genital Herpes (male) and really want to go to the doctor tomorrow. The pain is unreal and Im actually struggling to walk properly- as well as that I couldnt function in work today.

I booked to go to the doctor tomorrow. I have VHI and the doctor will cost 55e. I really dont have the 55e to spend tomorrow and then probably more on prescription then.

Is there a way that doctors would leave me a receipt to pay them back in two weeks (payday) or would there be any trust there? Its not my local doctor

    Thank you

Try your local gum clinic. Hse clinics are free.

If you can't visit your own gp, I can't see why another doctor would risk losing out. But no harm asking about payment terms.

In the meantime, visit the pharmacy and get something for the itching.

Hey, if you have Vhi you may be entitled to their online doctor service. It may be included in your package. It's like a Skype call, you download the app for Vhi online doctor. It's a free service offered by them

If you are near a VHi Swiftcare clinic you could go there instead of your GP & it should be covered under your policy.

It depends on your policy, I get a certain number of 'free' visits each year.

Yes, we are lucky, it comes with my hubby's job. He does pay lots of Benefit in Kind for it.
