Have the odd spot of rust on the loader (minor enough to be fair) but should I paint these to stop them getting worse or is the whole thing better to be left original.

I know its impossible to say but in general do people rather leave original or paint

Fully depends on yourself, is it old or fresh enough, is it spoiling the tractor as a whole. Do you plan on holding onto it or selling it soon. If its only one or two spots maybe tidy them up, anymore paint it all..

Good original is always my preference.

If you are not selling fairly soon , I would use some abrasive to clean off the spots and paint spots with an antirust paint. Or just clean off loose rust and paint on chemical antirust acid product. In years to come as spots multiply do a full repaint.
