    A Chairde,
The wife and I are fairly harmless at Irish but our children love it and have expressed a strong interest in holidaying in the Gaeltacht next summer. What towns or villages would you recommend that aren't too touristy, but which have the following kinds of amenities: restaurants, playground, nature trails, walks and a bit of site seeing.
    GRMA!
    Barra

Cad mar gheall ar An Cheathrú Rua.
Carraroe, Co.Galway maybe, plenty walking, Aran Islands at hand, just an hour west of Galway City and Irish spoken in Shops pubs etc.
