The specs required are OS: Windows Vista (SP2), 7 (SP1), 8/8.1, 10 (1703/Creators Update) - 64-bit or 32-bit. Processor: Intel Pentium 4, Intel Core or AMD Athlon – 2.2 GHz + Memory: 2 GB RAM. Graphics: Intel GMA X4500, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT or AMD/ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 – 256MB VRAM

    Anyone any suggestions?

I'm quite certain any laptop will be able to run that. Those specs were common years ago, so even basic machines should be able to run what you need.

What kind of budget do you have, as your idea of cheap, may not align with my idea!

My brother is looking into a new laptop for FM2018 and i came across this......

It might be a bit overkill. What do you think? I haven't looked at laptop specs in ages so am a bit out of the loop but i presume SSD is essential at ths stage.

13" screen for FM might be a but torturous after a while.
SSD would definitely help, no graphics worth talking about so might need to dial back the graphics in the match engine, but should run the game itself just fine.
