We keeping getting a blockage at ajs outside out downstairs bathroom in our new build.
After flushing toilet a few times and watching how tissue and water flow through it, I noticed that sometimes paper is catching on a little ridge on base of it.

I'm thinking that maybe this is the issue....it takes a few months before blockage happens again.

I dont know why builder used this 6 outlet aj as there is only three needed.

Has anyone had any issues with these?
And are they correct ones for this situation?

See my attached image for what is happening.

The multi outlet can be cheaper in some cases as it could be a generic brand.
Also, the multi outlet allows the installer to have more leeway when it comes to pipe connections as you are never 100% sure of the angle the pipe will take when connected to the previous junction.

I have fitted these plastic AJ's before & do not like them. Sometimes the waste & paper ends up on top of the ridge of what used to be the old fashioned cement benching. You might have to fill the single outlet pipe where it meets the AJ as if this is not smooth it will lead to a build up over time.

Going by the picture you have a very slight backfall in the AJ, this is why the paper is getting caught on the outlet ridge.
I see too you have gravel around the AJ, it would be messy but it would be possible to take out that AJ and put in a proper one, you need a Wavin AJ 3 or 13, not sure which, one is left hand the other is right hand entry if i recall correctly.
