So I have a Bros 400 that started breaking down regularly and as I newbie Ill admit I don't know much but I was told new battery would sort Me out. I replaced the battery anyway and same thing happened. It's stated back firing lately and then eventually splutters to a stop losing power. It'll then turn over but won't fire. Sounds to me like a fuel problem, most likely being starved of fuel. Then again could be wrong. If anyone could point me in the right direction of a decent mechanic or even someone on here that could take a look id appreciate it big time! Anyone I've been to has tried to take me for a ride money wise and tried to saddle me with a few non existent problems. Thanks guys

Firstly..where in the world are you..??..:)..it sounds like the usual fuel pump issue, can you hear it running,is the filter full of crap..??

Fuel pumps are a known weak spot for these.
Get a new fuel filter and a pattern pump.
Easy fix and once done, will last longer than the bike.
That said, you could do with giving the plugs a clean and gap as they might have got furry from running a poor fuel air ratio.
