Dock Gate Dental (now part of the Smiles group) down on dock street are very good, best dental experience I've had since I was a child.

I second this guy, he is the best. He is incredibly gentle and reassuring, I have never even felt the pinch of the injection when he has done it, he really cares about making the experience comfortable for you. He also is fantastic at his craft. I have a filling he did after I broke a big chunk off a tooth and it's so well done that I can't find it in my mouth. It's seamlessly blended in with other teeth.
He really won't fleece you either.

Agree with McGee's, they are top notch, have been using them for the last ten years now.

Highly recommend Kingston Dental in Knocknacarra. Very handy, next to Joyce's so free parking. Top-notch facility and Dr. O'Shaughnessy and staff are very competent and professional. Even our family's nervous patient had a good experience and got on well.

    Hello
What can I expect to pay for a check up and for a filling in dentists in Galway? Are they all similar? Thanks.

I go to Smiles, it's pretty decent. Price list here:

If you have a medical card, you can get a check up and two metal fillings a year.

Got a white filling here a couple of years ago. Went for a checkup with a different dentist and had to get it replaced. It crumbled in my mouth. Never again

With Prsi the checkup is free. The maximum you pay for scale and polish is 15

Yes you are correct, if you are over 25 and have been paying prsi for 5 consecutive years. But I have only been living in the south for 3.5years.
