    They're both good shows but really they're different enough that they shouldn't be compared like this. I preferred 'Mindhunter' myself but 'Mr. Mercedes' is very entertaining.

    For all of it's hype I found Mindhunter to be very average. I was expecting a lot more considering the talent involved; some of the middle episodes are just boilerplate crime of the week stuff.

    I’ve seen both. Mr. Mercedes would get my vote, but both are very good.

    Ah go away you, confusing it all. I wouldn't put "The Sinner" above either of the two shows, but I would place "The Handmaid's Tale" as better than all these shows. Fantastic TV.
