Can anyone recommend a replacement for the f2000 modem muck that eir supply?
We have FTTH but the 2.4ghz is dreadfully slow, drops out etc.
We also live in a full concrete house so signal to anywhere bar the hall where the modem is is awful

And is it as simple as unplugging the f2000(and setting fire to it) and plugging in the new one?!

    Clueless!

    Thanks.

    You've FTTH, worlds your oyster.

150Mb package anything will do, 1000Mb and you need expensive gear just to "handle" that throughput.

On the 150mb pack, we were getting speeds of about 130/140 on the 5ghz and 40ish on the 2.4ghz, both of these are now down to 20/25 on a good day, and I keep having to switch the modem on and off, it’s driving me insane!
Paying for ftth and getting speeds marginally better than standard fibre!

Any recommendations on what modem to go for then??
