    Hi,

My parents adopted a bichon frise from a dog rehoming centre, they are wondering what would be the best food for her? they were advised to get grain free.

Any ideas which would be best?

Bichons being white dogs are one of the breeds that are suseptible to allergies and itchy skin. For this reason grain free and chicken free is best. I'm feeding acana at the moment which is all grain free and they have lots of chicken free flavours. I'm buying in my local pet shop at the minute as last time I checked zooplus didn't do small bags of the one I wanted.

DUCK is a good alternative (to chicken) OP, when you are trying to avoid allergies. Lots of the better brands of kibble come in Duck flavour.
Arcana, Taste of the Wilde, Orijen, James Wellbeloved are all good brands, and would have grain free/sensitive options. Do your parents live near a quality pet food shop? Will they feed wet or dry?

well they are feeding her Royal Canin but they are not grain free these were given to my parents when she was adopted, they dry feed her 2 times per day, my mother is not sure if she should just stick with ths brand or get something else,

There is a maxi zoo not far from where they live so i suppose its best they go ask them.

    Thanks
