Upstairs radiators problem-no balancing gauge?

Hi,

4 radiators upstairs are not getting any heat, tried bleeding them and at the start, there was a lot of air coming out but no water in the end.. seems to be a pressure problem where no water is getting upstairs. After reading many posts I was looking for the pressure gauge to add water and leave at 1/1.2 as suggested but I can't find anywhere, maybe because the system is very old? old terrace house in Harolds Cross
