    Hi all,

For mounting a tv unit and tv (65 inch) on the wall. What type and length bolts would you recommend?

Coach bolts or just standard screws?

Just regular wood screws with washers.

Are you going into plaster board or straight into block?

    How heavy is the TV?

Pilot holes and a Couple of ?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi00.i.aliimg.com%2Fphoto%2Fv0%2F254751140%2FHex_socket_head_wood_screw.jpg&f=1

Might not need pilot holes with these ones ?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi.ebayimg.com%2Fimages%2Fi%2F250676511076-0-1%2Fs-l1000.jpg&f=1

But normal wood screw would do the job I'd say. Just use a few more. And pilot the hole with a minimum sized bit.

I have a 32 inch which is pretty light plugged with normal wall plugs in plaster board. Solid. It is on a flush strip wall bracket.

The TV is 23kg plus the weight of the bracket. Probably 2 or 3 kg. So 25+kg in total.
